Review: Dream Cream Hand and Body Lotion from Lush

If you have sensitive skin, this is something you need to try out…

Dream Cream 2I’ve had eczema all my life.  Like seriously, since I was a wee babe (as opposed to now, when I am an über babe!). In recent years it has gotten worse, to the point where I have it on my back – right in that place that I can’t scratch in a satisfying way!

Fortunately, the lovely ladies at Lush recommended Dream Cream. It’s a soothing and cooling cream that’s suitable for any skin type and is made using oat milk, rose water and lots of other delicious things.

My verdict…
This lotion really is a dream! I’ve been using it on my whole body and my skin feels much less irritated. I’d even recommend this for someone without skin problems – it’s made my skin softer and much more hydrated, and it smells divine! To me the scent is most strongly lavender, so I like to apply it after a shower and before I slip between the sheets, but other people have told me that they can smell the oats and the rose more prominently.

Want some? You can get a 240g pot of Dream Cream for $37.90, pop by your local Lush store or order online.

This product is great! Initially i didn’t like the smell but once I put it on my body, it blends really well with my natural body smell. It’s light yet effective at the same time. Some say it’s greasy but I do NOT agree. it’s a cream and it acts like it but it doesn’t take long to blend into your skin.

Just thought I’d let you guys know that Dream Cream has been the BEST natural cream my daughter13 and I have EVER used for eczema, dermatitis and dry skin. Since using this wonderful cream for the last 2 months my daughters legs are looking the best they have in years! With NO steroid creams! And I get dermatitis on my hands and by using this every night, it’s all gone:) I would highly recommend that if you suffer from dry, eczema type skin, go into Lush ask for a small sample. It’s their top selling product world-wide for a reason! HTH

my hands have been crazy lately, all cracked up, red and extremely dry, I wanted to buy Dream Cream but it was all sold out so I bought Handy Gurugu… it’s not amazing and I think I still need Dream Cream in my life ๐Ÿ™‚ now I’m searching for reviews online to justify spending a small fortune on yet another hand/body cream and I think I will go shopping later today ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hey Olga, sorry to hear about your hands ๐Ÿ™ If you can’t get hold of Dream Cream, I recommend trying Steamcream (which is a great all over lotion) or Neutrogena Hand Cream (which is just for hands).

I hope you manage to find something to help your hands!

I got a small pot of this in the Rock Your Body Kit, and I am so glad I did because I got to try it out! I usually stay with Sympathy for the Skin, but I looove this! I can see why it is a fan favourite!

Ahh this looks so good! My eczema is creeping back across my chest and arms despite me cutting out wheat again to try to stop it ๐Ÿ™ Have you tried Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner from Lush?? I found it’s quite good for the eczema too. I wish my face liked Lush face care better, it all smells so good!

      Hey Fi,

I love Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner! I think I prefer out of the shower moisturisers though, just because I enjoy having the chance to self-massage. Will keep an eye out for nice sensitive face stuff for you x
