New Hair + New Finds

New Zealand plus size fashion blogger Meagan Kerr wears Gathered Waist Tunic from Autograph, hair cut by Nigel Russell at The Hair Boutique Mairangi Bay, Auckland

In a somewhat dramatic move, I decided to cut off half of my hair the other day. Don’t get me wrong, I really loved my long hair but the ends were in a bit of a state and it was so heavy it was giving me headaches, so it was time for a change. I agonised over cutting it for months, but I’m really glad I finally did it. I’m so stoked with my new hair style and can’t wait for those curls to have their moment now they’re not being weighed down! View Post

Wands at the ready for all things Harry Potter

Hands up if you’re a fan of the wizarding world of Harry Potter. I most definitely am – I’ve read the books, watched the films countless times, played LEGO Harry Potter on my PS4, and I’ve been playing Wizards Unite since it was in Beta (more on that in a minute). Naturally, this Ravenclaw gets really excited when new HP stuff comes out! Here’s a few things that have caught my eye lately. View Post

One of the things I get asked about the most is where to buy plus size activewear, so I thought I’d put all this info in one handy spot. You might be hitting the gym, doing yoga, going to crossfit or walking your dog. Or maybe you’re running around after the kids, grabbing coffee with a friend or heck – even just sitting at home eating chips, cos a lot of us wear our workout gear when we’re just living our lives. No matter what you’re doing while you wear it, here’s where you can find activewear in plus sizes. UPDATED 21/02/22. View Post

Versatile Workwear

Finding great plus size workwear can be hard sometimes. As a fat woman with a big bust, button up shirts are not really my friend. Tops are often too short or low cut or made from fabric that makes me feel sweaty. So when I find things that would be good for the office and are actually comfortable, of course I need to share them with you. View Post
