The Best Plus Size Black Friday Sales 2018

The Best Plus Size Black Friday and Cyber Weekend Sales 2018

It’s that wonderful time of year when there are bargains galore to be had – this is the best time of year for shopping online with Black Friday and Cyber Monday (or Cyber Weekend) sales happening all over the show. There is also Small Business Saturday, which is important because in the world of plus size fashion, there are many small businesses that are just one or two people making really great fashion forward clothes.

Some of the sales on over this weekend are pretty amazing, so here are some of the plus size clothing sales I’ve found. I’ll update these as I become aware of them (or as I’m allowed to talk about them), so make sure you keep checking back or let me know if there is one I’ve missed. View Post

The Great Cover-up

In winter, we wear coats to keep warm. But in spring, summer and autumn, when the weather is unpredictable or you want to layer without melting, it’s all about kimonos and duster coats. They come in different lengths, colours and prints, and it seems like my wardrobe is full of ones I’ve collected over the years. The latest addition is this floral one from Hope & Harvest, and it’s my first real foray into this full length style. View Post

Plus Size Halloween Costumes

Plus size Halloween costume ideas

It’s that time of year again, my friends – the time of all things creepy, spooky and a little bit kooky. That’s right, I’m talking about Halloween. Do you go full on and dress up as a “character”, add spooky elements to your outfit or just take inspiration from something? I like to make it last all month long and bring in something a little spooky to every day, and then I’ll usually get properly dressed up for Halloween (or a Halloween party). I’m not sure what I’m going to wear this year, I have a skirt being made for me but if that’s not done in time I may need to come up with another option… View Post

Torrid Clothing Haul

It’s been a while, and I thought what better way to get myself back in the groove of videos than a clothing haul? I did things a bit different this time and decided to try using a freight forwarder (YouShop) to help me save on shipping – I’ve included some info on that in my video but if you would like me to do a whole separate post just on that please let me know! Anyway, into the haul (that’s what you’re here for right?)… View Post

Business As Usual

Brought to you by 17 Sundays

As a big busted babe, I find it incredibly difficult to find really great button up shirts. Things that are made to fit my bust just don’t seem to be made to fit the rest of my body (and vice versa).

In my late teens and early 20’s I worked in finance (possibly not what you’d expect from me, but I loved it!), and office attire was usually button up shirts, and suit skirts (or pants) with jackets. I was much less busty then than I am now, but even then I felt like it was a struggle to find tops that didn’t threaten to pop a button at all times. View Post
