Summer Monochrome Love
Where I live, summer is humid. It’s hot and sticky, and sometimes you feel like you could swim through the air. On days that humidity is especially high (or when it’s super hot), you want to be wearing something as lightweight as possible. My new summer love is this dress from Harlow – it’s light, it looks fab and I feel gorgeous in it!
Head to Toe Black
When I was growing up, films told me that black clothing was mysterious, elegant, sultry… There’s a certain seductive quality about a woman dressed in head to toe black – it reminds us of on screen sirens, tales of temptresses and all things spooky.
Ankle boots for spring
With the rainy spring weather lasting longer than I’d like, I’ve started looking at ankle boots again – because on a rainy day those strappy sandals just won’t cut it!
I love lace up boots because I find them the most comfortable. If you’re ordering online and aren’t sure if the boots will fit your ankles, look for stretch panels or laces as they have some more give. View Post
High on a snow capped mountain
When the boything and I went on our recent adventure, we went up beautiful Mt Ruapehu to climb on rocks and play in the snow. Even though it’s almost summer, it had snowed the night before, so there was plenty of fresh snow up there. View Post
