As the weather starts to warm up and we can finally start peeling off all the layers of clothing we’ve worn over winter, my spring style gets scaled wayyyy back and my wardrobe gets super basic. Maxi dresses, simple singlet and skirt combos… I like to keep it easy and then layer up if it’s a bit chilly.
Jandals are all I need if I’m popping out to run a quick errand (or off to the beach!), no fuss or messing about with strappy sandals. To be honest I don’t own any sandals at the moment but I am planning on picking up some like this from Kmart in the very near future. Stay tuned…
Hats are my other summer essential. I’ve been swiping this one from my boyfriend over winter but I am definitely going to have to get a hat of my own. Not sure if I want to stick with this style or go for another – you can be sure I’ll be trying on all the hats. All of them. Don’t worry, I’ll snapchat the really terrible styles (I’m thisismeagank if you want to come find me and laugh at awful hats!).
Maxi skirts and dresses are my go to in spring because it can still be a bit chilly and I don’t want a breeze blowing my skirt up like it can do when I wear shorter styles. This tulip style is a nice way to cover up my legs but still let them see the light of day!
