Kmart Clothing + Homeware Haul

New Zealand plus size blogger Meagan Kerr wears Anko black and white leaf print cropped pants from Kmart

I know that a lot of people have been asking for plus size fashion on a budget, so I thought I’d share a few things that I picked up from Kmart. There’s a few homeware bits and bobs in the middle there, just for something a little different. You can expect to see more about shopping on a budget on my blog this year, because I’m on a budget and I know lots of you are too!

Alexia Leisure Shorts (26) – no longer available online
Alexia Ruffle Sleeve Top (26) – no longer available online
Alexia Maxi Dress (26) – no longer available online
Anko Flocked Coathangers (pack of 30)
Madison Cotton Mega Towels (1m x 1.8m)
Madison Cotton Face Cloths (pack of 4)
Toilet Brush Set
3L Rubbish Bin
Anko black and white leaf print cropped pants (26)
Louis Duvet Cover Set (K)

I’m really excited about those leaf print pants, I’ve worn them loads already and I know they’ll look great paired with almost every top I own because they’re black and white – making them super easy to style.

I’m also excited about those towels – it’s always such a celebration when you find something you’ve been looking for for a long time! The weird beige-y mushroom-y brown coloured one is being firmly relegated to the back of the cupboard for a while. I’ve not put the duvet cover on my bed yet, but when I do I’ll make sure I post a photo on my Instagram so you can see it in all it’s glory. I’m so excited to have found one for such a good price, after YEARS of forking out loads of money for them!

I’m still on the hunt for some kind of organiser to go in the cupboard after my bathroom sink – if anyone has any ideas please do let me know. The pull out box that we have isn’t working anymore so I’m hoping to find something great to make it more functional.

Have you picked up anything great from Kmart lately?
Let me know which of the pieces I picked is your favourite.

Those Kmart leaf pants are the bomb, I bought those and the plain black ones. I have to say that Kmart do comfy pants really well. For small bathroom storage solutions I suggest the Joseph Joseph brand, available at Briscoes and also online at Mighty Ape amongst others. They have some really functional bathroom caddies in various sizes at the moment, the only downsize is they aren’t cheap, but I can confirm having bought some of their other kitchen products, that they last for years, are easy to clean and still look great.

Comfy pants are the best! Thanks for the Joseph Joseph suggestion, unfortunately I think they might be a bit small for what I’m wanting but I’ll have to pop along to Briscoes and check them out

For mega big towels, check out the Sheridan outlets! Usually 70% off, I have a bath sheet which is beautiful and thick, it covers past my knees and it has a decent amount of wrap. Love the bath sheet I got from there 🙂

Bath sheets are great but are usually a lot smaller than the ones I got (the Sheridan range is about 15cm smaller) – hence why I’ve been on the hunt for so long! Thanks for the suggestion though!
