I did some sale shopping at Torrid and it was a wild ride – strap yourselves in for a story time my friends! I picked up a few pieces that I’ve been eyeing up for a while, including what might be the coolest leggings I’ve ever put on my body.

I think it’s pretty obvious that my fave pick from this Torrid haul is the skull fair isle leggings, I mean look at my face in the video when I’m trying them on! I’m definitely going to be wearing them around home this winter (duh), probably just with long sleeve tees and my slippers, but I think I can get away with wearing them out too – maybe with a tee and some ankle boots? What do you think? I’d love to hear your styling ideas!
I’ve also been wearing the ponte jeggings a lot – they’re really comfortable and look super smart on (but also work for a casual look). After wearing them a lot over the last couple of months I think that they’re too big for me around the waist. This isn’t uncommon with trousers for me because my waist and my hip measurements are really different (usually at least one dress size difference), meaning it’s really difficult to get pants that fit well. I think that the legs and the hips are a good fit, but because the waistband is bigger the trousers drop down a bit to sit at my hips rather than just above my belly button. Before I rush out to buy a smaller pair I think I’ll look at getting the waistband taken in a bit at the back. I’ve been a bit lazy about getting things tailored lately, but I think it’s the best way to go in order to get a really great fit.

Wow, you really worked to get those funky leggings. I would totally be putting those on when I get home from work, so I have the snuggliness (?) of pjs, but no guilt assoc with putting pjs on at 5 when people turn up unexpectantly!!

Yeah it was a mission and a half! I’m so glad I finally got them though because you’re right – they’re all the snuggliness of PJs but I’m still dressed if someone comes round
