It’s undeniable – the world of blogging is becoming more and more popular, and with plus size fashion largely relegated to online stores, it should come as no surprise that the ranks of plus size style bloggers are growing. This is awesome because it means that you can find people whose style fits with your own – meaning you’ve got shopping ideas, fashion tips and style inspo right at your fingertips. Here are some of my favourite plus size style bloggers to follow at the moment, just to get you started:
How to be body confident at the beach

My first ever experience with body shaming was when I was wearing a swimsuit, so it probably comes as no surprise that I spent a lot of time agonising over wearing one as a teenager and in my 20’s. I remember going to the beach in board shorts and a baggy t-shirt, with my one piece underneath, feeling very self-concious – a far cry from the cocky, confident person I was on the swim team a couple of years beforehand. Things have changed a lot over the last few years, and now I feel completely at home in a bikini. I get a lot of people saying that they wish they felt so confident in a swimsuit, so I thought I’d share a few of my tips on how to be body confident at the beach (or where ever it is that you’re swimming!). Say goodbye to chub rub

I’m going to be blunt – chub rub sucks. There is nothing glam about chafing, which can be the bane of summer. It doesn’t matter if you’re fat, thin or somewhere in between, chub rub can happen to people of any size – it’s when your thighs rub together when you walk, causing friction. It sucks so much that every year when summer rolls around I get people asking me about how to avoid chafing. I decided to take one for the team and try out some solutions to help you say goodbye to chub rub. View Post
Summer travel essentials
Summer is the time for travelling. A weekend away with your friends, a family camping trip, an overnighter with your beloved, the great summer roadie… it’s time to hit the road and do some exploring. But what do you take with you? When space is limited you want to make sure that you grab the essentials, and leave behind the things you won’t need. View Post
Things No One Will Tell Fat Girls

Jes Baker is pretty well known in the world of body positivity as someone who is unafraid to talk about things that many shy away from. Her no bull attitude is what drew me to her, with her open letter to then Abercrombie and Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries and amazing “Abercrombie and Fat” photoshoot after Jeffries made some body shaming comments about why he didn’t want fat people shopping in A&F stores.
As soon as Jes announced her book Things No One Will Tell Fat Girls, I preordered it. View Post
