Say goodbye to chub rub

More ways to beat chub rub

I’m going to be blunt – chub rub sucks. There is nothing glam about chafing, which can be the bane of summer. It doesn’t matter if you’re fat, thin or somewhere in between, chub rub can happen to people of any size – it’s when your thighs rub together when you walk, causing friction. It sucks so much that every year when summer rolls around I get people asking me about how to avoid chafing. I decided to take one for the team and try out some solutions to help you say goodbye to chub rub. View Post

New Year’s Resolutions 2016

2016 New Years Resolutions

January 1st. The day when people wake up and swear they’re never drinking again, make New Year’s resolutions to drink more green smoothies and eat less sugar, or vow that they’re going to lose weight and “be healthy”, right? Nope I’m not going to pay for a gym membership I’ll only use for a month, only eat kale and quinoa, run until I spew or try yet another ridiculous diet in an attempt to starve my body and be slim. Fuck that. My goals for 2016 are all about making more time for myself and living a fabulous life. View Post

2015: the year in review

2015 in review

A post came up in my Facebook memories from a couple of years ago, so I thought I’d give y’all a bit of an update on how 2015 has treated me. If you’d like to play along, feel free to leave your answers in the comments!

1. What did you do in 2015 that you’d never done before?
I made some really adult decisions to better my life and decided to put myself first. That meant no longer spending time with people who didn’t value me or my time, and I’m so glad I made that decision. Also, I made a yoga video, did a live TV cross and did a radio interview. View Post

Lost and Led Astray Tuck Hem Dress (4XL) and Oval Resin Necklace

Since spring cleaning my closet this year, I have tried to be more conscious of the things I’m adding in. Rather than spending small amounts of money often on things that will wear out quickly or will only last a season, I’m choosing things that will last a long time. Sometimes these things will cost a little bit more, and I need to save up for them – but trust me, the decision to invest in your wardrobe is one worth making. View Post

Spring clean your wardrobe

How to spring clean your wardrobe

Have you ever looked in your wardrobe and despite having lots of things in there, you’ve got nothing to wear? Welcome to the story of my life. I have some favourite pieces that I have on constant rotation, and the rest kind of sit there sadly, being worn once every so often (or not at all). As I’ve made the decision to refine my style and go back to a more neutral colour palette, I thought it was high time to clean out my closet. A few people wanted to know how to spring clean your wardrobe, so here are a few tips to help you out. View Post
