Style It: Spring Fling

In New Zealand, it’s Winter.  Cold, windy, rainy Winter.  No surprise that I am dreaming of Spring already, is it? To help cheer myself up on this chilly day, I’m searching online for sweet Spring outfits…

Even though I’m usually a black on black on black gal, I can’t help but reach for light airy colours at the beginning of Spring – it’s a great way to cheer yourself up if the Winter has been particularly dark and gloomy.

These jeans were actually what made me start thinking about Spring outfits – how gorgeous is that greyed lilac colour? I am slowly incorporating more colour into my wardrobe and I think this might be my new favourite… View Post

WIWT: Grey Winter Days

I am back in Auckland after a wonderful long weekend away, and today is one of those lovely Winter days that is super sunny with a bit of a chill.  Perfect weather for … working on assignments. Whomp whomp. I took advantage of the sunny day to pop out into the garden and get a few snaps of the outfit I’m wearing today.

Sunglass Hut & OPSM Spring/Summer 13/14 collections preview

A couple of weeks ago, I attended the Sunglass Hut & OPSM Spring/Summer 13/14 collections preview at Studio Lumiere on behalf of nzgirl. Translation: I tried on some sweet new designer glasses, and found out what’s coming up in terms of eyewear fashion.

When I say that I tried on some glasses, I mean that I tried on most of the glasses on display. I’m always on the hunt for a new frame shape that suits my face, so this was the perfect opportunity to try heaps of different kinds.  Unfortunately, it did mean that I fell in love with more than one pair – oops! WIWT: Winter Blues

Meagan Kerr wears Harlow Dress

I’m off to a launch today, and rocking the gorgeous Greatest Love of All dress from Australian label Harlow.  A couple of points to note about this dress – it’s BEAUTIFUL! And it’s also the comfiest thing I’ve ever owned.  It’s made from super soft jersey, which feels absolutely lovely. View Post

All Wrapped Up: Top 10 Scarves

My wardrobe consists primarily of neutrals – navy blues, greys and blacks are pretty much my staples.  I then like to liven things up with accessories – either coloured or textured – that make me look and feel fantastic.

nzgirl asked me to compile a list of my top ten scarves, and I thought that even though we are entering the cooler months I would include some that can be worn all year round, because scarves and wraps are wonderful for all seasons!

This is, hands down, my number one must have scarf.  Don’t you think it looks super snuggly and warm? It comes in a variety of colours, including burgundy (as seen here), so everyone should be able to find a colour to suit them. View Post
