Goodbye 2013!
Someone asked me what I was wearing for New years Eve, and I jokingly answered “a bikini”. Well, it turns out that’s actually what I wore! I spent NYE at the beach with friends, swimming and relaxing, and it was bliss!
Summer is wedding season, and a good friend of mine is getting married in a few weeks. Dilemma – I need something to wear! I have the frock sorted, but after staring blankly into my shoe closet I realised that I no longer own any sandals – how did that happen? That means I have to go shopping – and so, here are ten of my fave pairs of sandals for this summer (no, I am not buying them all, no matter how much I might think I need them – 2014 Meagan is attempting to save…). I had a super quiet Christmas this year, just chilling out in Whangarei with my family. We have a very large extended family, so it was nice to have a quiet celebration with no fuss. I wore a maxi dress my Mom made for me a few years ago. I love this dress because not only does it fit me perfectly (the joys of having something custom made), it has acres of billowing fabric and it makes me feel pretty!
The weather is warming up, so I thought I’d put together some of my fave pieces to keep cool in while still looking hot! This seemed like a great idea at the time, but now I just want a whole bunch of things while I’m on a self-imposed shopping ban. Oh the torture!
