All Wrapped Up: Top 10 Scarves

My wardrobe consists primarily of neutrals – navy blues, greys and blacks are pretty much my staples.  I then like to liven things up with accessories – either coloured or textured – that make me look and feel fantastic.

nzgirl asked me to compile a list of my top ten scarves, and I thought that even though we are entering the cooler months I would include some that can be worn all year round, because scarves and wraps are wonderful for all seasons!

This is, hands down, my number one must have scarf.  Don’t you think it looks super snuggly and warm? It comes in a variety of colours, including burgundy (as seen here), so everyone should be able to find a colour to suit them.

This lovely jersey drape is ideal for everyday – perfect to keep you warm in Winter without getting too bulky, and great to wear with a patterned top.

I will always have an affinity for all things nautical, and this striped scarf from Country Road is no exception.  In navy and white or khaki and black, this could be the perfect finishing touch to your weekend brunch outfit!

This sweet floral print scarf will brighten up even the greyest of days, and is classy enough for everything from brunch to business.  It’s an all season scarf designed to accessorise rather than keep you warm.

I love this chic longline nautical number from Oasis – it would be perfect for an Autumn stroll through the park!

Looking for something warm that looks and feels luxurious? This loop knit scarf from TS14+ should do the trick…

Sometimes you just want something classy to wrap around your shoulders when you’re out to dinner or an event.  I love a good pashmina (I wear mine as wraps and as scarves), and Redcurrent has these in a variety of colours.

Combat the Winter blues with this short bright red textured scarf from Glassons.

I love this lightweight monochrome abstract skull print snood, this is another fabulous find that works for all seasons (and might have to find its way into my wardrobe…).

If you’re a pastel toned princess, pop on this pretty mint snood from Forever New.

What will you be wrapping up in to stay warm this Winter? I’d love to know what style of scarf you prefer – my favourite is definitely the snood!

All prices listed are in New Zealand dollars unless stated otherwise, and are subject to change.
