I needed a bit of time out this week so the boything and I grabbed coffee from Circus Circus and hit one of the local parks to check out the local wildlife and enjoy a spot of sunshine.
I’ve been wearing a lot of autumn colours lately – deep reds, oranges, mustards, greys and blacks to match the changing colours of the season. It hasn’t even been a conscious thing, I’m just an autumn girl at heart.
I love the falling leaves, the chilly mornings, snuggling up in my nice warm bed, sipping on a hot drink and warming my hands on the cup. I love wearing lots of warm layers and wrapping a soft scarf around my neck, pulling on gloves and lacing up boots. Autumn is my season.
A walk in the park on a crisp day when the sun is shining down is one of my favourite ways to destress in autumn (and bonus points if I have coffee!). It’s the combination of the fresh air and the change of scenery, I think.
One very important thing that you should know about me is that I love animals. Like, I get way too excited and I need to be told to calm down sometimes (especially when there are dogs, man I love dogs). So you can imagine how excited I was that these guys came to say hello…
I just can’t even.

And I also love getting a take away coffee and drinking it out in nature, that’s my kind of picnic! 😉 Not too much preparation required and much nicer than sitting in a coffee shop. The scenery looks amazing too, those trees have incredible shapes.

Autumn is my time of year too! I think a lot of fashion people dig it as it’s such a fun time to play with layers. But mostly, I like the smell in the air and the slant of the run rays.
