I’ve been on a bit of an ASOS Curve spending spree (hello, my name is Meagan and I’m a shopaholic) recently, and wanted to show you the first of my awesome things to arrive. This gorgeous red skater skirt!
It’s much shorter than I would usually wear (over the knee? Crikey!), but I’m trying to not give a shit about baring my legs this summer. Thanks to these photos by the beautiful Becca, I have decided that my legs deserve to not be hidden away all the time.
I am a sucker for a swishy skirt, and love the feel of this fabric on my skin. It’s super comfortable and oh so soft, and to be honest it’s nice to have something for my bottom half that isn’t black!
I’m loving my black clothes even more now that I have copper hair – I think that they work so well together, and my hair really stands out with my pale skin and the black lace.
You know what I’m loving even more now I have copper hair? My Orange Attitude Color Whisper lipstick by Maybelline. ALL OF THE ORANGE!!!
I may even get brave over summer and wear this lace top with just a bra underneath – no singlet! First, I need to find a black bra that fits well and doesn’t cost a fortune. Not an easy feat for me in New Zealand!

This is a cute smart casual outfit, I love both items (skirt and shirt: they are such stand out items and perfectly work well together). I dare you to wear this shirt when summer arrives without a singlet, I black perfect bra would definitely do for this challenge and ull look fab – you better start hunting for that bra: hopefully Cacique is your answer – goodluck 🙂

Love your hair and you are right about really showing up nice on the black, I am too thinking of getting a shorter skirt for the summer. I got my bra’s from Lane Bryant when they had their 2 for 1 deal, I was really scared about buying them online but they all fit perfect, I made sure I read the reviews and measured and remeasured till I was sure I had got it right lol.
