It’s only just starting to feel like spring here in Auckland, but Hope & Harvest‘s new collection Nauticas already has me dreaming of hot summer days. Well, who ever thought this day would come? Certainly not me! When I was being photographed for this article, I naively thought that the pictures were for inside the magazine. I never imagined that I would be on the cover! Heck, I actually had never envisioned myself in front of another photographer’s lens!*

No Big Deal
Some of you may remember that I had a photo shoot a few weeks ago (and how nervous I was!). I’m excited to finally be able to let you know that it was for Sunday Magazine, which you can find inside the Sunday Star Times this weekend (on Sunday, obviously).
I’m on the cover of a magazine, no big deal! Except it is. It’s a MASSIVE deal! My “serious model face” (called fierce by some, bitchy resting face by others) graces the front cover of Sunday Magazine this week and I’m so very excited to be able to share this sneak peek with you today!

Over the weekend I started watching Suits on Lightbox, have you seen it? It got me thinking about how easy guys have it when dressing for the office – a good suit is fairly easy to find and will instantly make you look smart! Plus size women don’t have it so easy – if I wanted a suit I would need to have a bespoke one made to account for my body shape and my bust to waist ratio (no one looks smart in an ill fitting suit!).
