Where I live, summer is humid. It’s hot and sticky, and sometimes you feel like you could swim through the air. On days that humidity is especially high (or when it’s super hot), you want to be wearing something as lightweight as possible. My new summer love is this dress from Harlow – it’s light, it looks fab and I feel gorgeous in it!
When I was growing up, films told me that black clothing was mysterious, elegant, sultry… There’s a certain seductive quality about a woman dressed in head to toe black – it reminds us of on screen sirens, tales of temptresses and all things spooky.

Racing season is upon us, and if you’re planning on attending any of the events over the next six months then you will need to be well dressed! Hemlines have dropped this spring, with midi lengths becoming increasingly popular. Sitting just below the knee, the midi skirt (or dress) is a little more demure, a lot more grown up, and gives a nod to the styles of the 1970’s.
