Review: Lush Celebrate Body Lotion

ORANGE BLOSSOM (Citrus sinensis Osbeck). Painting by Mary E. Eaton.

I remember standing under the orange trees when I was a child, crushing the leaves and blossoms in my hand in a mixture of sweet and bitter scents. That’s what Lush’s Celebrate Body Lotion reminds me of.

This is a much thicker lotion than the other ones I’ve tried from Lush, it’s more like a body butter. This lotion was made for the cool winter nights of the Northern Hemisphere, but I think that it’s the perfect scent for the warm nights of our Christmas season – there’s something romantic about a floral scent on a warm summer breeze…

My verdict…I love that this scent brings back so many memories like getting an orange in my stocking from Santa, and standing in my Grandma’s garden. I find the thickness of the lotion to be perfect for reviving my poor tired skin after a day in the sun, sand and surf!

It’s never too late! Santa will probably have to make a visit to a Lush store though, because it’s a bit late to order online, so if there are any other lovely Lush things you’ve been eyeing up you should mention those as well 😉
