Reader Survey – April 2015

This is Meagan Kerr Reader Survey April 2015

It’s been a while since we did our last reader survey, so I thought it was about time wee had a wee catch up! I’d love to find out what you want to see more of on the blog, what you want to see less of, and a little bit about you so that I can make my blog more awesome.

Of course, no reader survey comes without a little bit of bribery. I’ve opened up my prize cupboard and have three cruelty free packs of goodies (worth over $100 each) to give away to some of the lovely readers who give up a few minutes of their time. If you’d like to get your paws on one of those then make sure that you fill out your contact details at the end of the survey. The survey will close at 9am on Monday 13th April 2015 and I’ll be drawing the prize winners at random.

Thanks so much for taking the time to fill this out – I love hearing what you think and I look forward to planning some great things for This is Meagan Kerr!

Thanks to everyone who completed the reader survey, this is now closed but if you have any other feedback or would like me to write about something in particular then please get in touch!

Congratulations to Janna Brewster, Monique Wallath and Brenda Grant who were the winners of the gift packs!

As women, we are told that we should cover ourselves up. To dress a certain way. We are taught to hide ourselves, and our bodies. We are told that we are less worthy because of our gender. We are taught shame. There is a lot we learn, in this business of being a woman.

Flannel shirts and flat caps

I’ve been in Rotorua over the last week for the Crankworx mountain biking festival, and decided to channel my inner mountain bike babe in skinny jeans, flannel checks and a flat cap. It’s a style that’s a little bit different from my usual girly look, but it really got me in the mood for wearing more checks this autumn and winter. And more flannel. And a cap. Oh dear, what’s happening to me?

Grace

I get super excited about meeting my blog readers, and after talking to Grace on Facebook I was thrilled when she told me that she was willing to step in front of my camera. She’s so friendly and bubbly in real life, that the moment I met her I felt like we had known each other for ages. I love having that kind of connection!
