Autumn Style Picks

As I’m sure you all know by know, autumn is my favourite season for fashion – lots of layering, a darkening colour palette, snuggly knits and any excuse for getting cosy with a big scarf. I’m loving denim, merino, checks, stripes… here are a few of my style picks for autumn. View Post

Review: Dafni Hair Straightening Brush

Dafni Hair Straightening Brush - is it worth the hype?

I really love the sleek smooth feeling of my hair when it’s straightened, but it always takes me so long to do that I don’t do it very often. You all know how much I love a good roadtrip, right? One of the things I want to do this year is see more of my own country, so roadies are a must. The drive down to Rotorua is one of my favourites because the scenery is so beautiful – especially driving through the Kaimai-Mamaku Forest Park. And at the end of the drive is one of my favourite spots of all, The Redwoods in Whakarewarewa Forest. View Post

Plus Size Pinup: Fran Robertson

Miss Pinup New Zealand 2016 Finalist Fran Robertson

Meet Fran. She makes costumes and hairpieces (specialising in the weird and wonderful) and works as a wardrobe stylist as well as doing hair and makeup. She dabbles in portrait photography, is an all round awesome babe and to top it all off she is a Miss Pinup New Zealand 2016 finalist. I was excited to be able to catch up with her to ask a few questions about her style, being body positive and being a plus size woman in the Miss Pinup New Zealand 2016 finals. View Post

My autumn essentials

Brought to you by Farmers

New Zealand plus size fashion blogger Meagan Kerr wears Wild Child City Ponte Pants, Yourself Luxe Merino Top and Alexia Check Shirt

As the weather cools down I’m starting to get really excited about my wardrobe for autumn and winter. I love layering and wearing warm snuggly clothes, so this really is my favourite time of year. I’m not one of those people who has “a summer wardrobe” and “a winter wardrobe” though – I try to have things in my wardrobe that I can wear all year round, and this is when a few staples are important to help carry me through from hot weather to chilly temps.
