How to wear printed pants

I only started getting in to printed pants in the last 12 months or so, but now they’re a wardrobe staple and I find myself gravitating towards printed trousers when I’m styling outfits. I get at least one message a week asking how to wear printed pants, so I thought it was about time for a blog post… View Post

How to tie a scarf

This is Meagan Kerr #nzstylecurvettes Loop Scarf

I don’t wear a lot of accessories – I like to keep things simple and most of the time I just wear stud earrings and a watch. When it’s a bit chilly or I want to add a pop of colour to my outfit, I go for scarves. My go to is one of the many infinity loop scarves I have (my favourite at the moment is this orange one from Farmers) – it’s so easy to throw on and go, as well as being super soft. However, I do have quite a few flat scarves, so I thought I’d share three different ways to tie a scarf. View Post

Spin The Pin: This is Meagan Kerr's take on Not Dressed As Lamb's outfit

I love getting outfit inspiration from other people’s outfit choices – it’s what makes people watching, blog reading and Pinterest pinning so great. I’m a bit of a newbie when it comes to Pinterest (come and follow me here), but my blogging friend Jo from iCurvy has made a cool challenge to get us all inspired. View Post

First Look: Chocolat SS16

First Look: Chocolat NZ Plus Size Fashion SS16

Last week I popped over to High Society’s Auckland headquarters to meet the team (including amazing designer and fellow Gisborne gal Sheryl May) and check out the new season looks for Chocolat, their plus size range. You might have seen me wearing Chocolat before, but I think that this season’s collection “High Spirits” is better than ever so I thought I’d give you a wee peek at some of my favourites. These would definitely be investment pieces for me because they’re great quality high fashion pieces, and I know I’d get a lot of wear out of them. View Post

That fateful coat

This is Meagan Kerr wears Autograph Melton Coat in charcoal grey

I wasn’t even looking for a coat. I nipped in to Autograph in Sylvia Park to have a quick look for a jumper while we were waiting to go and see Minions, and I spied it on the rack as I entered the store. I tried it on in slate blue and fell in lust with it’s warm cosy embrace. But slate blue isn’t practical with my wardrobe, and neither is hot pink, and the charcoal grey wasn’t there in my size. So I put the coat back and walked over to look at sweaters. But then I found myself back at the rack with the coats. View Post
