This week’s Aussie Curves theme was Colour Clash, so I was forced to banish all my black clothes to the wardrobe and reach for the colour – not something I have much of (especially bright colours!).
Fortunately, I managed to find some red and purple in my closet. That clashes quite well, don’t you think? So bright! 
Isn’t this dress glorious? My mom made it for me, and I wear it all the time in summer. It has yards and yards of fabric and is super comfortable. My mom’s talent isn’t just limited to dressmaking – she’s an amazing artist. Go check out her work here!

Did you notice that my hair is looking a lot lighter (and a bit more ginger) than usual? Bonus points if you did – I’ve just used a hair lightening treatment to prepare my hair for a drastic colour change. Keep your eyes peeled for a review of the lightening treatment and my new colour…
