It’s holiday season and I’m super excited to share some treats from some of my favourite brands with you to celebrate. Sama + Kiki first came to my attention last year when I found out that they were making plus size maternity clothing – this is something that so many people ask about and I am stoked that there is someone in New Zealand making clothes for preggy plus babes. In the last year, Sama + Kiki have expanded a bit and are now selling all manner of plus size clothing, bringing us great brands like PQ, Mojo Beach and SWAK Designs.
I thought that for something a little different I’d show you a couple of pieces I’m loving from Sama + Kiki. The maxi dress on the left is DIVINE and I love the style and the sleeves – this is one of those “wear over and over in summer” pieces! The tunic in the middle has the most stunning print (anyone else obsessed with palm print everything?!) that is perfect for summer. I’ve actually already got the black and white version of the dress on the right (this is what it looks like on me below), and I can attest to the fact that they are the most blimmin comfortable dress! The dress I’ve shown further down is one of Sama + Kiki’s own designs – it’s a a maternity/nursing friendly style but can be worn by anyone, and would be perfect for dressing up.
You can find Sama + Kiki online and I’m super excited to share that they are opening a pop up shop in Casabella Lane, Hamilton on December 12th. This is a great chance to try things on and check things out in person (I love to be able to feel the fabric of something before I buy it, so if there is a brick and mortar store I take advantage of it!). They stock clothes in size 14-24 with some pieces available for pre-order up to 36, and maternity in sizes 14-24 (plus some nursing friendly options too!).

The Mojo beach ombre tunic looks gorgeous. I am trying to add colour to my wardrobe. I always wore black because I thought it was more slimming….then I realised I’m fat….nothing is slimming haha.
