WIWT: French National Day

I donned some blue and white stripes to wear to the French National Day celebrations at my office today (by which I mean eating delicious treats from Eiffel en Eden). Of course, I couldn’t resist adding a little red lippy!

The French National Day commemorates the beginning of the French Revolution with the Storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789 and is sometimes known as Bastille Day.

I wanted to share my outfit today not just because of my fabulous dress but also because I’m wearing some delicious new tights from Donatella’s. They’re just so perfect that I had to tell you about them! They are super warm and made from bamboo.

I’ve never had any clothes made from bamboo, so I was really interested to find out how warm they are, what they’re like to wear and how comfortable they are.

I’m happy to report that they’re super warm (perfect for this chilly winter weather) and really comfortable. If you’re after something to keep your pins cosy, I highly recommend these!

I just wanted to say how fabulous you look in your French Revolution inspired dress! The striped fitted top looks fabulous and contrasts wonderfully with the flared skirt. Total beauty!
