Winter pyjamas to snuggle up in

Winter 2017 Plus Size Pyjamas

If you follow me on Facebook you’ll know that I’m planning a room revamp at the moment (don’t worry, I’ll be sharing the results here so you can check it out!). It’s all planned around my bed, so naturally I’ve been looking at pyjamas and thinking about snuggling up. I’ve picked out a few of my fave pairs and thought I’d share them with you in case you’re keen to get cosy too.

Winter 2017 Plus Size Pyjamas | P.A. Plus Tartan Rib Nightshirt, $99.99 from Peter Alexander and ASOS CURVE Gingham Woven Nightshirt, AUD $48.00 from ASOS

I love this classic style checked nightshirt, there is something just so cute about pyjamas like this! People seem to either love nightshirts or hate them, which camp are you in? Both of these nightshirts look like they’re on the shorter side of things, so personally I’d prefer something a little longer.

Winter 2017 Plus Size Pyjamas | P.A. Plus Stripe Nightshirt, $99.99 from Peter Alexander and P.A. Plus Let It Snow Sleep Tee, $99.99 from Peter Alexander

I’ve recently become a fan of sleep tees, because they’ve got all the comfort of your favourite tshirt but they’re long enough to wear to bed. There’s something really casual and cosy about that!

Winter 2017 Plus Size Pyjamas | P.A. Plus Slinky Dog Classic PJ Pants, $89.99 and Long Sleeve Tee, $79.99 from Peter Alexander | ASOS CURVE Spot Long Sleeve Top and Long Pant Pyjama Set, AUD $48.00 from ASOS

P.A. Plus Slinky Dog PJ Pants, $89.99 and Long Sleeve Tee, $79.99 from Peter Alexander | ASOS CURVE Spot Pyjama Set, AUD $48.00 from ASOS

I remember looking at the cute designs on Peter Alexander pyjamas in my 20’s and feeling really sad that they didn’t come in my size, so I’m really stoked to see so many rad designs (like the current Toy Story collection) including the P.A. Plus range! If you have questions about the fit of the P.A. Plus range, check out this post or just drop me a line below – I’m happy to help!

Side note – Peter Alexander is having a sale with 20% off until Sunday 23rd July, so if you want in on that, now’s your chance.

If you like a more classic design, I’m a big fan of flannelette tartan PJs. Bear in mind that flannelette fabric usually doesn’t have any stretch, so if you’re between sizes I’d recommend sizing up. I spied a pair of sleep leggings while I was hunting for pyjamas and think that’s a great idea – especially for people like me who find that a looser fit leg just means that your pyjamas inch their way up your legs while you’re sleeping.

Winter 2017 Plus Size Pyjamas | Check Printed Robe, $34.99 | 3/4 Animal Print Kimono, $44.99 | Pom Pom Robe, $34.99 from Autograph

If pyjamas are not your jam (or you just wanna be extra cosy), then a robe is a good idea for when you get up in the morning or if you need to get up in the night. I’m sure it will come as no surprise that I fell for the leopard print kimono as soon as I saw it!

What do you wear to bed?
I’m all about the long PJs!

I feel weird about wearing outside clothes to bed (and bed clothes outside), I don’t know why. I think it’s because I’ve just always had clothes specifically for bed? My pyjamas are way more comfortable than any other clothes I own!
