Wine time

If there is one colour that has made it’s way into my wardrobe this winter, it is wine (or marsala, maroon or burgundy, depending on what store you are shopping at). It’s a warm cosy colour that is perfect for the cooler months and if you are a fan of a darker palette for your wardrobe (hello, me), it works really well with your black, grey, camel and navy neutrals!

I’m not really a wine drinker (unless it’s mulled wine, because OMG that is delicious), but I am definitely a wine wearer! I actually didn’t intentionally buy a whole bunch of clothes in this colour, it just kind of happened that I kept finding myself drawn to the warmth of this shade. I even have a wine coloured lipstick (check it out here).

Do you have a colour that you have been feeling drawn to recently? Let me know what you’re loving and how you’re wearing it!

Now hands up, who is keen for a drink?

I’ve been slowly updating my wardrobe to a simpler palette – black, grey, white, camel, navy etc. But my fave colours I always have to stop myself from buying is maroon and dark, vampy purples (makeup and clothes). So obsessed I still wear those colours in the summer haha.

I’m the same – I mostly have neutrals and then a few luxe vampy colours. I can’t resist them!

Hey Meagan jyst wondering what the fit is like on the pants that your wearing from seventeen Sundays? Would you say their sizing is similar to city chic? Just looking at the slim fit ones. Thanks

I’ve never tried on any pants from CC, sorry Rebecca! I would recommend using their size chart to help you find your size http://www.17sundays.com/sizing/ – if you compare it to the City Chic size chart you’ll be able to find your size easily.

Wine is my favourite colour!! My favourite wardrobe piece is a maroon cardi that I have worn regularly since 2003 … from Glassons! The colour goes with a ton. My first dark lippy has been a very similar shade of plum/wine too. Suits you too x

It’s a great colour isn’t it? I started with a lippy and it seems to have spiralled out of control from there 😂
