Win a gift pack from The Body Shop

This is Meagan Kerr 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway - The Body Shop Frosted Plum Gift Pack

Every year I get excited about The Body Shop’s Christmas range. Last year it was the Glazed Apple range (I may still be hoarding some of it!) and this year it’s Frosted Plum. Plum has always been a Christmas scent for me as I remember so many days spent lazing around the back garden in Emily Street, eating plums picked fresh off the trees.

These plums don’t come from sunny Gisborne though, they’re from orchards in Turkey and have been mixed with magnolia and peony to make the most scrumptious scent. It may even rival the Glazed Apple range for my favourite scent from The Body Shop. I know, big call… But it’s fruity and floral, two things that I adore, so you shouldn’t be surprised really!

So there is this cheap perfume in the USA call white shoulders- its kind of awful old ladyish, but my grandfather use to get it for my grandmother every year at christmas. Anyways in 2007 she passed away a few days after Christmas before getting to open the box and use it, after she died my grandpa gave it to me after he put a small amount on her pillow so when he slept he could still smell her. I really never liked it but it was the sweetest gesture, a few months after she had been gone I grabbed it out and gave it a smell and it was like she was in the same room as me.. millions of memories flooded back in.. so now, long story short, that is my favourite scent that reminds me of Christmas..
