Trend Tip: Teal

As we transition from winter in to spring, we’re seeing gorgeous new spring/summer lines of clothing in stores and teal is one of the stand out colours. Whether you go for a darker shade or a lighter one, teal is great for all skin tones.

This dress is super smart, and I absolutely adore the detailing.  I’d definitely pair this with some tights, as it is still a bit nippy out and the hemline is rather high…

I have this dress in ink, and I absolutely love it. If I would have it in every colour I would – it looks amazing on, can be dressed up or down and is the most comfortable item in my wardrobe. Seriously.

It’s sleeveless, it’s peplum, it has a cut out back (ooh!) and that heart print? Too cute.  Wear it with skinny jeans for effortless casual chic.

Embellished collars are a great way to add a bit of sparkle to a blouse without going crazy, and I think it works perfectly with the delicate chiffon of this blouse. Currently on sale for $45.60!

Add a bit of mermaid shimmer to your outfit with this midi skirt from Harlow.  If, like me, you’re not super keen on baring your pins, this skirt is a great length and can be worn with or without tights.

Perfect for snuggling up in during a spring storm, this cardigan is on special for $44.54 at the moment. I love the slouchy fit and the graduated colour.

If you’re looking for something a little more dressy, this tank dress will be great for all those summer Christmas parties! On sale for an amazing USD $22.96 at the moment, it’s a good time to plan ahead…

There are still a few chilly days left in the calendar, and this coat from ASOS (which is currently marked down to $133.62) is perfect to help keep you warm in that time! PS – that collar is faux fur, in case you were wondering.

Moving from cold weather to warm weather, we’re going from a coat to a tank. Woah! I have everything covered today! We are expecting a very warm summer, so bare those arms in style ladies!

I’m a big fan of tunics and ¾ sleeves, so I am loving this piece from TS14+ (and did I mention that it’s on sale for AUD $49? Bargain!). Perfect with jeans or tailored trousers.

If you’re looking for some gorgeous teal make-up, check out this nail polish and the eye pencil and shadow in this post.

What do you think, are you as mad about teal as I am? How would you incorporate it into your look?

I love the first dress! I’ve never been a stockings person. I hate the restrictive way they feel and how they usually feel like they want to pull down. But I have to admit, tights give you access to so much more of your wardrobe in the wintertime.

Now that I have all but stopped wearing trousers, tights are a staple in winter (cold draught up the dress = yikes!). I’m more likely to wear leggings than stockings though, because I don’t like the feel of them either. I wonder if I’m perhaps not wearing ones that fit properly though…

Love it in clothes and on the eyes, especially for brown eyes <3

Yes, definitely on the eyes! I am blessed with big brown eyes, and love how teal looks on them. Must invest in some more eye make-up…
