Trend Tip: Monochrome

Monochrome is a timeless trend – black and white look amazing together and are an instantly classy look. No matter what the season, you can rock the monochrome look or brighten it up with a pop of colour. Here are a few of my favourite monochrome pieces right now…

The skater skirt is still a firm favourite of mine – I love the way that it kicks out at the bottom, and think that this variegated stripe looks super cool!

A simple scarf is a great way to stay on trend when you’re on a budget! I love this spotty scarf from Glassons.

The angled stripes on this jumper curve around your body to create a super flattering shape, and I think that it looks fantastic paired with jeans.

I really like the diamond print on this bodycon fit pencil skirt – ASOS also has a checkerboard version available.

On a budget? Stay on trend with this bangle from Boohoo for just $4!

It’s a panda jumper, it doesn’t need any words. That cute panda face says everything you need to know…

A skirt and a dress? Heck yes! I’m all about multipurpose outfits!

This oriental jacket is so beautiful – I love the fabric and the Chinese knot front opening!

By now I’m sure you’ve realised that peplum is in – this is going to be around for a long time! I’m loving this long sleeved monochrome striped top, and it’s on special for $23.33 at the moment – bargain!

There is so much amazingness happening in this dress – colour blocking, monochrome, bodycon magic.  Stunning.

Black and white is very wearable. I have an amazing black and white stripy dress but then I stopped wearing it because my husband told me I looked like a referee. Um…If referees wore dresses, sure…
