Top 10: Handbags

If I could pick the one accessory I love most, it would have to be handbags. I was super excited this week when nzgirl asked me to compile my ten hottest handbag picks!

Whether you go for a bargain buy or splash out on a luxe bag, the style of your bag can really up the ante on any outfit. The other great thing about handbags? They’re a one size fits all kind of deal – a good handbag won’t judge you for eating a muffin for morning tea the way some form fitting dresses will!

So, after much drooling over bags over the last few days, here are my top ten (in no particular order):

Deadly Ponies’ Mr Molten is one of my two most lusted over bags at the moment.  I don’t think I even need to explain why. Please, just give me a moment while I stroke it…

I’m a big fan of navy, and that definitely extends to accessories. Love the woven pattern on this satchel! Also, it’s made from vegan leather, which is pretty rad.

This pretty comes in a range of colour combinations (Black/Tan (as seen above), Tan/Orange, Cream/White). I love the simplicity of this bag!

As you’ll know from reading my previous post, Oxblood is in this season! I think this black/cabernet tote is the perfect way to ease yourself into those Autumn colours! Also comes in black/milk.

With a choice of black, petrol green or tan, you can’t go wrong with this gorgeous messenger bag. I think that this would be a wonderful way to liven up your office attire – and who could help from being happy at work when you’ve got this baby by your side?

Be still, my beating heart! This is the other bag I am lusting over at the moment – I don’t even have the words to describe why I love it so much, it just calls to me! Seriously, beautiful!

I’m a longtime fan of this stunning teal colour, and at only AUD$39.99 I think that this is a very affordable way of brightening up your days as Autumn rolls in.

I think that the black lace detailing on this slouch bag from Boohoo.com is the perfect way of breaking up a plain surface – it’s feminine without being overly sweet.

Speaking of feminine, how sweet it this Cath Kidston shoulder bag? I love Cath Kidston’s beautiful floral pieces, they can brighten up even the darkest of days.

Here is another teal number for you – great for brightening up the dark colours that are coming in to trend over the coming seasons.

Which bag is your favourite?

Great list! We have very similar taste in bags, though I’m a 1 handbag kind of girl. I love that you show a good range of prices.

Thanks! I use more than one handbag because they end up lasting longer if you switch them out regularly – and I can change them to suit different moods or outfits!
