When I was at Melbourne Fashion Week Plus, I absolutely loved the purple fat unicorn dress that Joolz Fashion sent down the runway and I was super stoked when I found out that this awesome print is also available in black (aka the basis of my wardrobe). It seriously gives me life – how can anyone resist a chubby rainbow unicorn? I mean, honestly.
The dress itself is soft and really nice to wear. The fabric is stretchy, and the cut of it means that it’s fitted around the bust and then loose over my stomach and hips. I sized up to allow extra room for my hips, but to be honest I didn’t need to because it’s pretty free fitting around the the waist/hip area.
I love clothing that fills me with joy, and this dress definitely does that. I love both the print and the fit of the dress, and I already know it’s going to get a lot of wear this summer. If you love unicorns but the dress isn’t your style, that’s okay – I’ve scouted out the Joolz store and found crop tops, leggings, kaftans and pencil skirts in the same fat unicorn print, and you can choose from pink, purple and black backgrounds! There’s also a whole bunch of other cool prints including galaxies and Golden Girls, in sizes 6-32.

This is so cute! I love black clothese but my fave colour is pink so it’s a bit of a toss up between those two. I think I’m leaning more towards black though.

Hi Meagan, this is the first time I have responded, but receive your emails and read your blog. I simply love that dress and also all your information. Unicorns and rainbows would be the ultimate in a black as I don’t think I will ever give up on the preference for the dark side.
