Boho Luxe: 1 item 4 ways

This is Meagan Kerr x Farmers Plus Size Boho Yourself Luxe Lace Long Top

In case you hadn’t noticed, there is a distinct 70’s vibe to fashion at the moment. Forget the bell bottoms though, this is a more refined look – it’s boho luxe inspired with more modern shapes, making it really easy to work those trend pieces into what you’ve already got in your wardrobe. One of my favourite new finds is this lace top, so I thought I’d show you how I style it in with some of the style staples that I already have. View Post

Casual weekend style

This is Meagan Kerr x Farmers plus size activewear

My work style and my weekend style are very different – when I’m working I want a polished look, but in the weekend I’m all about being comfortable and casual. Jeans and a tee, activewear that can be worn for yoga (or to walk up to my favourite café for brunch), or tunics that I can wear with leggings. Outfits that let me do what needs to be done around the house, spend time with my family and friends, and let me relax while still looking good. View Post

Florals and leaves

This is Meagan Kerr: NZ Style Curvettes Floral // Sara Floral Kimono from EziBuy

Spring is here, and with it comes florals. There are new flowers blooming (and if you live somewhere like me where the wind is unpredictable, they are also scattered all over the ground), and floral prints are hitting shop floors as well.  Florals don’t have to mean small Laura Ashley prints – they can be as big, bold and abstract as you want – and in my case, yes you can wear florals on a black background.

Leopard Print Pants

This is Meagan Kerr: NZ Style Curvettes Trousers // Autograph Animal Print Pants

It took me a long time to get excited about printed pants because I couldn’t find any that were that secret unicorn of comfort, good fit and nice pattern all rolled in to one. When I stumbled across these leopard print pants, I put them on and immediately fell in love because of how comfortable they are. View Post

Dark Florals

I’m pretty picky when it comes to flowers – I know what I like (peonies, hydrangeas, vintage roses and amaryllis, for the record) and what I don’t (carnations, most chrysanthemums and most lilies). The same goes for florals in fashion – I’m either all in or all out and I think I might have … maybe four? floral pieces in my wardrobe (two of them are made from the same fabric). One of those select few pieces is this kimono from Kiwi designers DMONIC INTENT.
