I’m a self-confessed Apple fangirl. Despite having tried many other kinds of computer and phone, I always find myself coming back to Apple products because they’re easy to use and compatible with each other, and my favourite new accessory the Apple Watch is no different. Continue reading
On the 19th of March 2015, HELP is holding their annual Colour Me Purple charity auction to raise money to help fund their crucial work within our community. Emceed by actor Aaron Ward, the evening’s entertainment will include performances by Kiwi icons as well as both a live and silent auction. Outstanding locally-made art is on offer, as well as amazing experiences, including a walk-on part with local heartthrob and sexual violence prevention educator Sam Bunkle on Shortland Street, a weekend away experiencing Waikato’s Waitomo caves and Hobbiton, and three nights at the Gold Coast in the Sheraton Mirage Resort with flights included. HELP aims to raise $50,000 to help them bridge the funding shortfall they face in delivering their services.
Tickets to Colour Me Purple are limited (but don’t worry, I’ll let you know how you can get yours in just a moment!), and guests are encouraged to wear their best purple attire – so I’ve put together a few of my favourite purple finds to help you look fabulous!
It’s a beautiful day today, with sunshine beaming down on a brand new week. What better way to celebrate gorgeous weather than with floral inspired outfit and some time spent in the sunshine? Continue reading
There are a lot of pieces in my wardrobe that I really like – you know the kind, the ones you can wear anywhere, are super versatile and can be mixed and matched with other pieces, that make you feel fabulous as soon as you put them on? My everyday style changes depending on what I’m doing. If I’m meeting with clients or going to events then I’m a little more dressed up than if I’m working from home. I thought I’d photograph my outfits for the week so you can check out my everyday style…
Some days a girl just wants to rock the black on black on black lace…
I’m all for the layering of blacks in an outfit (maybe that’s my secret Goth side coming out?), but I think it’s important to bring in different textures and accessories so that you don’t just disappear in a shadow of darkness…

Morgan Taylor Professional Nail Lacquer’s Sweater Weather seemed appropriate, considering the shift into cooler weather now that we have passed the autumnal equinox…
The company I’m working for has been office-less for the last few months, with everyone working from home while we hunt for the perfect office space. We finally found it, and moved in last weekend. No longer can I work from home in short shorts and a tank or my pyjamas, I get to actually get dressed and see other people (okay, I may have been going a little stir crazy…)!
Personally, I’m not huge on the whole Valentine’s Day thing – why reserve those gestures of love for just one day a year? And why is there so much pressure to spend money? I prefer to show my beloved that I love him in little ways throughout the year, like packing his dinner to take to work every day, picking him up so he doesn’t have to walk home in a storm, and going out to eat delicious things in our favourite restaurants just because.
