WIWT: The NZFW 2013 Edition (Day 4)

Yesterday was the last day of New Zealand Fashion Week for media, and the second to last show I’ll be attending this week. The Miromoda show was the one I’ve been most looking forward to this week – so much so that on Tuesday I even had my nails done in honour of DMONIC INTENT’s collection (which they showed in the Miromoda showcase yesterday)! This is what I wore to the Miromoda showcase, which is a celebration of the amazing talent of our up and coming Maori designers:

WIWT: The NZFW 2013 Edition (Day Three)

NZFW_WIWT_DAY3_01When I walked in to the Viaduct Events Centre yesterday morning in between downpours, the first thing I noticed was the sea of black. As soon as the weather turns rubbish, everyone seems to forget the florals and bright colours of spring. I felt right at home! Fortunately I had a bright turquoise bag to liven up my outfit a little. WIWT: Winter Blues

Meagan Kerr wears Harlow Dress

I’m off to a launch today, and rocking the gorgeous Greatest Love of All dress from Australian label Harlow.  A couple of points to note about this dress – it’s BEAUTIFUL! And it’s also the comfiest thing I’ve ever owned.  It’s made from super soft jersey, which feels absolutely lovely. View Post

All Wrapped Up: Top 10 Scarves

My wardrobe consists primarily of neutrals – navy blues, greys and blacks are pretty much my staples.  I then like to liven things up with accessories – either coloured or textured – that make me look and feel fantastic.

nzgirl asked me to compile a list of my top ten scarves, and I thought that even though we are entering the cooler months I would include some that can be worn all year round, because scarves and wraps are wonderful for all seasons!

This is, hands down, my number one must have scarf.  Don’t you think it looks super snuggly and warm? It comes in a variety of colours, including burgundy (as seen here), so everyone should be able to find a colour to suit them. View Post

Hats to keep you warm as the weather cools down

It’s definitely starting to get a bit chillier now, the perfect time to invest in a snazzy hat to keep that precious brain of yours warm and functioning (no one likes brain freeze!). Hats are a great way of changing up your outfit without spending loads of cash.

nzgirl asked me to compile a list of my top ten hats for cooler weather, so here they are!

I find it really hard to find a hat that I think suits me, so I tend to go with styles I already know and love.  The fedora is my go to hat, and I’m loving this navy woolen fedora from Redcurrent (also available in burgundy). View Post
