Review: Naturigin Cruelty Free Hair Colour

For the longest time, I’ve been hunting for a good quality hair dye that’s cruelty free and the right shade of red. Even finding cruelty free hair colour that you can use at home is a pretty difficult feat in New Zealand, let alone one in red, so it’s been salon-only for a long time. Until now.

Naturigin Cruelty Free Hair Colour - Medium Blonde Deep Red 7.55 - What is in the box

When the team at Naturigin got in touch and told me about their hair colour I knew immediately that I had to try it – they have a pretty good range of colours to choose from and I spent a long time tossing up between Medium Blonde Deep Red 7.55, Medium Blonde Red 7.4 and Medium Copper Blonde 6.34 – spoilt for choice! I settled on the Medium Blonde Deep Red because I wanted something a little bit warmer than my usual copper for winter. View Post

My cruelty free daytime makeup look

Recently, PharmacyToday interviewed me and some of my other blogging friends (Laura from Laura Loves Beauty, Cass from Cassandra Myee and Morgan from Hyacinth Girl) about beauty trends for this coming spring and summer – you can check out the article here.

Since I made the switch to cruelty free I’ve discovered some amazing new cosmetics, and I wanted to share some of them with you, so here is my cruelty free daytime makeup look – natural with a bold lip.

Review: Cosima True Renew Facial Exfoliant

Lately I’ve found myself gravitating more towards beauty products that are natural and organic, because I don’t want my skincare products to be full of chemicals and ingredients that are only identifiable by a string of numbers.  That’s why I was super excited to have the chance to try out the Cosima True Renew Facial Exfoliant.

Cosima True Renew Facial ExfoliantIt’s filled with lovely things like bamboo, jojoba beads and willow bark extract to deeply cleanse and exfoliate your skin and help to accelerate cell renewal.  It’s also certified organic, 100% natural and not tested on animals – hurray! View Post
