This is NZFW 2013: Day Two

NZFW_logoDay two of New Zealand Fashion Week was pretty brief for me – I only attended one show because I had to go to uni classes and submit an assignment (damn uni getting in the way of fashion!). Fortunately, the one show that I did manage to attend was Trelise Cooper and it was awesome!

This is NZFW 2013: Day One

NZFW_logoNew Zealand Fashion Week kicked off on Tuesday (which is kind of weird – why would you not start at the actual beginning of the week? Anyway…), and it was a super mega ultra long day for me (and everyone else associated with NZFW, I’m sure), so be prepared for a really long post! View Post

WIWT: The NZFW 2013 Edition (Day 4)

Yesterday was the last day of New Zealand Fashion Week for media, and the second to last show I’ll be attending this week. The Miromoda show was the one I’ve been most looking forward to this week – so much so that on Tuesday I even had my nails done in honour of DMONIC INTENT’s collection (which they showed in the Miromoda showcase yesterday)! This is what I wore to the Miromoda showcase, which is a celebration of the amazing talent of our up and coming Maori designers:

Trend Tip: Spot On

I love spots, on everything from shoes to nails. You can dress up your spots to make them corporate, dress them down for a casual outfit, or change your spots for a night out…

It might still be cold, but my mind is firmly ensconced in the warmer months to come.  This cute frock can be paired with stockings and a cardi or blazer if you can’t wait til the weather warms up! View Post

DMONIC INTENT Pop Up Store

I snuck in to the DMONIC INTENT Pop Up Store while they were setting up ... so many things that I want! Image: Meagan Kerr

I dropped by the DMONIC INTENT Pop Up Store while they were setting up … so many things that I want! I love that the garments are arranged by colour – I’m a grey and navy gal!

Heads up! My good friends at DMONIC INTENT have a pop up store running from today (Tuesday 23rd April) at in the Cross Street Arcade (214 Karangahape Road)! They’re selling a whole bunch of their amazing garments, hats and jewellery, which you may have seen at New Zealand Fashion Week over the last couple of years, and some art that you’ve won’t have seen (but should consider buying because it’s awesome!).
