All my adult life, I’ve wondered how the heck women get that gorgeous smooth look to their skin when they apply makeup. You know, the kind that looks like you’ve had your makeup done by a team of professionals. I’ve tried countless foundations (easily more than 50) in an attempt to find the holy grail that would give me this magical angel skin. I’ve applied it with brushes, used a sponge, tried my fingertips, and do you think I could master it? No freaking chance! Until now – now I have mastered the secret to flawless foundation! View Post
Review: Vitamin E Cool BB Cream
I’m a BB cream girl. I don’t like full coverage foundations for everyday use, I prefer something more lightweight that gives my skin a little bit of colour while still letting my freckles show through. How often do you wear lipstick?
I’m turning 30 next month, and (I feel a little silly admitting this) I am scared of wearing lipstick. I’ve never been one of those girls with a beautifully made-up mouth unless I’ve been on stage or in front of a camera, and there is something about lipstick that makes me feel like I’ve been in my mother’s dresser playing with her make up. There’s no logical reason for this, because I know I look perfectly fine wearing lippy! View Post
Review: Maybelline New York Instant Age Rewind “The Lifter” Foundation

Make Me Up: Back To School
One of my 30 x 30 resolutions was to experiment with make-up more, and so I thought I’d hold myself accountable by regularly sharing my made-up face with you! Today is the first day back at uni for me, and I’m super excited because it’s my last semester ever (I know I’ve said this the last two times I studied, but shh).
Monday is my longest day – I have back to back classes all day and then am working until 8pm – so my make-up needs to be long lasting and suitable for both uni and for work.
