Yesterday an article on Stuff mentioned that size 18 is the top seller at New Zealand department store Farmers. They also mentioned that many New Zealand retailers only go to a size 14-16 – something that many of you wish wasn’t the case. One of the things so many people say to me about New Zealand plus size fashion is that they would love to have the options available in straight size – there are so many different designs, prints and colours that are difficult to find in bigger sizes – especially if you want to shop in store and be able to try things on! Style It: Winter Date Night

Just because it’s winter, it doesn’t mean you have to stay in! I’ve put together this gorgeous outfit from the wonderful selection at ASOS, so get dressed up and take your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner/spouse out for a night of dinner and dancing.

This maxi dress is floaty and absolutely breathtaking.  I love the dark navy tones and think that this is perfect for winter. It’s so elegant! View Post

Style It: Wet Winter

The weather is pretty wet and nasty at the moment (not to mention COLD!), so I’ve put together a fab outfit from the wonderful selection that ASOS has on offer, to help you stay warm and stylish.

Break away from black (I know, this coming from me of all people!) and embrace navy – I love this skater skirt! Ooh, and look! It’s on sale for $29.69 at the moment… View Post

Style It: Winter Greys

I think that grey is the perfect neutral for Winter, especially when paired with black and pastels.  The team at ASOS asked me to style up a few outfits for the New Zealand Winter season, and I think this one is perfect for work or play!

I love the flare of the skater dress and the sweetheart neckline – this dress is super adorable. View Post

Style It: Casual Winter Blacks

As you all know, my wardrobe features a lot of black. So when the team at ASOS asked me to style up a few outfits for the New Zealand Winter season, I had to include a casual black outfit!

Quick confession: I wear a singlet/vest pretty much all the time. Not only does it help keep me warm (I get cold easily), but it also helps to give me a nice smooth shape to work with. This is a basic you should have multiples of in your wardrobe. View Post
