Oh hi there June Favourites! I’m not sure how we suddenly managed to speed through half the year, but we have – winter is officially here, frost and all, and I have some awesome things to share with you – boots and books and beauty bits, oh my! Continue reading
With the rainy spring weather lasting longer than I’d like, I’ve started looking at ankle boots again – because on a rainy day those strappy sandals just won’t cut it!
I love lace up boots because I find them the most comfortable. If you’re ordering online and aren’t sure if the boots will fit your ankles, look for stretch panels or laces as they have some more give. Continue reading
My everyday style changes depending on what I’m doing. If I’m meeting with clients or going to events then I’m a little more dressed up than if I’m working from home. I thought I’d photograph my outfits for the week so you can check out my everyday style…
Who said florals were only for spring? Winter florals are where it’s at! I’m loving these floral jeggings and have been wearing them heaps over the last couple of months. They’re perfect for cold weather and I’m envisioning plenty of crisp winter days wearing these babies! Continue reading
I really love the warm, rich tones of autumn. I know that winter has already begun, but for my Aussie Curves post this week, I wanted to celebrate the delicious autumnal shades of nature.
I went out for brunch with some of my awesome blogging friends today, and even though it was sunny and warmer than it has been, it was still a little chilly. I decided to don some black on black on black for a quick easy look.
Mornings are usually an early start for me – I’m awake about 5.30am, take a quick shower and get dressed, then head in to work to make sure I get a car park. Parking near my office is limited, and if I’m not here by 7am then I either have to park much further away or spend a minimum of $30 a day on parking (not particularly sustainable!).
I can easily waste half an hour in the morning deciding what to wear, so to save time I have started choosing my outfit the night before. This also means my long-suffering boyfriend doesn’t have to be woken up by me rummaging through the closet trying to decide what I want to wear! Continue reading
When I started my Fat Girls Shouldn’t Wear Stripes project, bodycon was very high on the list of what fat girls supposedly should not wear. I know, even as I post this, that there will be more than one ignorant twit out there thinking (or saying) something along the lines of “oh hell no, fat girls should not be wearing form fitting clothing”. Well guess what? When I get up in the morning, I don’t dress for you. I dress for myself, in clothes that make me feel great!
I just spent an amazing weekend in Wellington (which is the capital city of New Zealand, for all of my overseas readers who don’t know much about the country I live in), where I got to celebrate plus size fashion, meet some great new people, catch up with old friends, eat delicious food, attend Wellington Fashion Week and photograph some gorgeous women for my Fat Girls Shouldn’t Wear Stripes project. More about that later though – first I wanted to share this outfit with you because I am so in love with this skirt! Continue reading
