Oh man, what have I done? I’ve become one of those people who actually enjoys exercise! Don’t get me wrong, dragging myself out of bed before 6am so that I can pull on my walking shoes is not my idea of fun at all, but as part of my knee rehab I have to walk to build up strength, so it’s gotta be done. Not to mention those endorphins, holy moly – that makes getting up early so worth it!
I’ve noticed a lot of people talking about how impossible it is to find activewear for plus size women, so for Aussie Curves: Flashback week I wanted to share some new activewear I picked up recently. It is out there, and while we don’t have nearly the same amount of choice as is available to straight size women, it is still possible to find things to exercise in!
I’m not really a big denim-wearer, because I mostly wear skirts and dresses (or leggings, gosh I love leggings!), but if you’ve been following me on facebook for a while then you probably know of my eternal hunt for a decent pair of jeans. Good news is, I think I’ve found them…

When I was at uni, I was juggling three jobs and full time study; my eating disorder was starting to take over my life again and exercise was one of those things that I never seemed to have time for. I was getting a maximum of five hours of sleep a night, and I was stressed all the time. My friends and family can attest to the fact that I was not managing that work/life balance at all.
