Stripes and animal print

NZ Style Curvettes Pattern Clash: Meagan Kerr wears 17 Sundays Stripe Batwing Tee and Autograph Animal Print Joggers

Is there anything that sums up my style more than 17 Sundays, stripes and monochrome? This tee was absolutely made for me, so when it showed up in a parcel of goodies from 17 Sundays recently, I was smitten! I’ve been wearing it a lot with black shorts, but couldn’t resist pairing these stripes with my animal print pants for a bit of a pattern clash.

I like to go for an all black or monochrome look at the best of times, but when the flowers are out in full bloom I love it even more – when I’m dressed in black and white I really stand out in the garden!

This top has a bit of a batwing sleeve which makes it nice and cool in this hot humid weather. I don’t have many batwing tops but after wearing this one and finding out how comfortable it was, I would definitely be open to trying more on. I think that the looser sleeve is great for giving you a bit of extra range of movement (especially if you have bigger arms!). This one is currently on sale, by the way, and there are only a few sizes left so if you like it make sure you nab it before it disappears.

Huzzah. I love animal print and stripes together. My outfit is the inverse of yours in so many ways, so I think we’re onto a winner. 😀

I love Batwing tops! I think they make women with pear shapes look a little more balanced. Plus I have big arms and I don’t like tops that make me feel restricted. Nice pics by the way! 🙂

Bat wings and kimono style sleeves are a fashion godsend! I had spotted a shirt in a straight people store, which usually i would walk past thinking ‘F**K, why cant they make that in my size!’ but the print on it was so cool i had to go and touch the damn thing. Once i pulled it out of the rack i saw that it was an over-sized shirt, so size 18 was more like a 22/24, and the cherry on top- bat wing sleeves. Meaning over-sized sleeves on a 18 girl, but a roomy fit on my size 24 arms. It is a rarity but sometimes you can get the odd piece from a straight size store, just need to know what to look for.

I love bat winged tops. I am actually at work wearing a body con dress with Bat Wing sleeves. SOOO Much easier to work 🙂 I love your combo. As I had a post up for New Years eve, I scheduled my pattern clash for tomorrow. XOXOX

Bodycon with batwing sounds nice! I’ve only JUST done my NYE post, doing things a bit back to front at the moment.

I have never liked batwing tops. They don’t flatter my shape and it makes me so jealous of those that suit the style because it looks so cool in the summer months!
I love the images of you smiling Meagan, you have such a sparkling smile! They made me instantly a little happier 🙂
