Steal Her Style: Tris Prior – Dauntless

The Divergent Series - Insurgent

I love stories with strong female protagonists, and they’re pretty much my go to when it comes to reading. Before Divergent came out, I read the whole series of books on the recommendation of a few of my friends in the USA and thought that they were amazing. When the first film came out, I fell in love again – this time with the costuming. I know – typical style blogger, right? Almost all of the clothing in Divergent was made especially for the film, with costume designer Carlo Poggioli doing an amazing job of designing outfits for each faction that really represented them and reflected their traits.

I loved the Dauntless outfits so much that I decided to do a wee bit of hunting – and now you can get a Dauntless inspired outfit in plus sizes…

As I suspected, equal parts Amity and Erudite.

    I got Amity (kind) 🙂

Apparently I would be in Amity or Euridite. I think I can see that. In order my results were Amity, Euridite, Abnegation, Dauntless the Candor last. 🙂

I think I’d be in Dauntless for fashion reasons only! I have been longing for that jacket for the longest time.

I would be mostly Erudite (which I didn’t think for me at all! Weird!) and then dauntless and abegnation.
Have you read the third book? I’d really like to hear your take on it, since most people think its so completely different from the other two (and contained elements that should have been there own book series). 😉

I’m mostly Erudite too, which I guess makes sense (and then scored equally for Candor and Dauntless). I have read the third book, but I really need to re-read it after I see Insurgent I think – I remember quite enjoying it but I can’t remember a whole lot about it (I read the series a few years ago and haven’t had a chance to re-read it yet).
