Singapore Sling Crop Top

Chocolat Singapore Sling Crop Top

I’ve been hanging out for warm weather because I hate being cold and I have been hanging out to wear the Singapore Sling crop top from Chocolat. I mentioned how much I love this print when I introduced you to their new season collection, and I’m so excited that I finally get to wear it.

Chocolat Singapore Sling Crop Top

It’s got a sheer black back and the front is a sheer blue with fan prints. The top has a high neck, and in comparison to some of my other crop tops, the hem is actually quite long. It’s kind of the perfect crop for someone who wants to try the cropped look without baring their belly (well, when paired with something high waisted it is!).

I’m so happy that it’s crop top weather – I find that I get really down over the winter months because I really feel the cold (which I hate), and it makes me lose motivation, creativity and the will to do anything but hibernate. Now that summer is on it’s way, I’m making the most of the vitamin D, and looking forward to beaches, bikinis and BBQs with my besties.

I love crop tops but I’m currently self-conscious of my tummy since the winter weight gain. I love the print of your top though and your nail polish colour is perfect for spring/summer!

I love that top! I don’t think I could rock the crop top style, I would feel funny having my tummy bare!! Maybe at the beach I would. Or with a high waisted skirt 🙂 Nice sandals too, love the pink nails. I haven’t yet bared my feet but we’re finally having some nice weather here so it might be time to ditch the boots (need a pedicure though!!)

I feel too self conscious wearing crop tops. But you never know, maybe this summer I’ll try it, if my asian body can handle the summer weather here in Auckland (summer weather here is like air conditioning in Singapore/Manila)! Hahaha! 😀

I admire anyone who is brave enough to wear a crop top no matter shape or size. I would so not be comfortable in a crop top. I’d always be pulling it down and worrying about it. Unless of course I layered it over a singlet but then I don’t see any point in wearing it I guess.

I layer mine over stuff sometimes, especially the ones with a slouchier fit, over something fitted! It’s great if it’s colder or you just feel like layering.
