Review: Trilogy Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+

Like many people, I’ve long had the idea that using oil on my skin will make it oily and greasy.  Did you know that’s not true? If you have dry skin or blemishes, oils can help to seal in moisture by forming a protective barrier, as well as cleaning out pores, and reducing irritation and redness. If you’ve got oily skin, the natural ingredients in these oils will trick your skin into thinking it already has enough oil, which will shut off sebum production. Totally not what you thought , right? Oils are great for balancing and detoxing dry, oily, or combination skin!

Trilogy Rosehip OilI’ve been using Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ for the last few weeks, because over Winter my skin gets super dehydrated and congested – not cool!

Combining nourishing essential fatty acids with super antioxidants, lycopene and phytosterol, this certified organic beauty oil is deeply moisturising while helping to protect against environmental free radical damage.

Studies show that Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ improves brightening, skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, elasticity and firmness.

How do I use it?

After cleansing, massage 2-3 drops into face, neck and décolletage. Use morning and/or night alone or in conjunction with your regular moisturising products.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil 2My verdict…

I’ve only been using the Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ in the evening, once I’ve cleaned off my makeup, but I’ve definitely noticed a difference.  My skin is super soft and supple, and my pores are looking much smaller and less congested. This doesn’t have the same strong rose scent that other Trilogy products have, which is good because I think that scent is a bit too overpowering for my face.  I’ll definitely keep using the Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ as I’m really liking what it’s doing for my skin.

Want some? It’s $35.90 RRP for 30ml from your local Trilogy stockists now or buy online here.

Have you tried Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ or any other face oils? I’d love to know what you think of them!

x Meagan

Hi Jen, I haven’t tried the Essano products myself – that was tried and tested by a guest writer. The Trilogy oil is lovely though! Sorry I can’t be of more help xo
