Review: Snow Fairy Shower Gel from Lush

That’s right lovelies, Christmas has started early at Lush! I had the chance to try products a little early this year, so I’ll be sharing lots of Lush reviews over the next few weeks! To kick things off, a shower gel that I’d heard everyone raving about but never had the chance to try.

Lush-Snow-Fairy“A perpetual hit with everyone (men and women, young and old) around the world and Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without it.  Candyfloss pink and with a sweet, magical scent of soothing and comforting vanilla, the flecks of blue glitter leave you shimmering.”

My verdict…
This is probably the sweetest Lush scent I’ve ever encountered.  It’s candyfloss and vanilla and all of the sweetness you ever imagined all rolled in to one bottle. It’s perfect if you like really sweet scents. I like it in small doses, but am not sure that I could use it on the regular because I find it a bit overpowering.  I know that won’t make me popular with the diehard Snow Fairy fans (and there are many!), but it just means I’m leaving heaps for you guys!

Want some? Snow Fairy starts at $12.90 for 100g, and you can get it online now or in store from October 10th. Be sure to check out the Bubblegum Lip Scrub as well.

Have you tried Snow Fairy? What did you think, love it or not for you?

I adore snow fairy…I tend to have 2 or 3 shower gels or jellies from lush and I alternate using them , I usually always have snow fairy, sweetie pie shower jellie is my fave though, another I’m using atm is the olive branch which is really yummy and I think another christmas shower gel is twilight, I still have a tiny bit left from last christmas, I’ve been too scared to use it up haha…one thing about snow fairy though is every time I use it the scent is quite overpowering and it makes me cough lol…I deal with it though cause it smells so good 😀

Sadly I don’t think there is any Twilight Shower Gel this year *tear* I have a new fave though … which I will tell you about next week 😉

I wish Lush wasn’t so expensive. I really love all their products. I like the purple shower jelly they had. This shower gel sounds nice. I love anything vanilla :L

I find that most of their products are so long lasting that the purchase price evens out over time. Also, I don’t mind paying a little extra to know that the ingredients are ethically sourced and not animal tested!

Vanilla is one of my fave perfume scents but I’m not keen on it as a body wash for some reason – I prefer coconut or rose 🙂
