Review: Dermalogica PreCleanse

I’ve been using Dermalogica’s PreCleanse for a little while now, and have to say that I’m really liking the results…

Dermalogica Precleanse

Dermalogica PreCleanse is a plant-based cleansing oil that melts away layers of waterproof makeup, sunscreen, excess oil, residual skin products and environmental pollutants that build-up during the day. It contains olive oil to smooth and soften skin, apricot kernel oil to soothe irritation, nourish and moisturise the skin and borage seed oil, which is widely used for treating inflammation, eczema, dehydration and scaliness. It also contains vitamin E oil, a rich antioxidant that helps minimise lipid peroxidation in the skin and improves skin smoothness and softness.

It’s super easy to use, just massage it onto dry skin (using dry hands) then wet your hands and continue massaging to create a light, milky emulsion. Rinse your skin with lukewarm water and then move on to the cleansing part of your skincare routine.

My verdict…

Dermalogica PreCleanse is amazing for removing makeup (I’ve found it especially effective for removing my eye makeup) and as the first step in my skincare routine.  I love the way my skin feels cool and refreshed after I’ve used it, and am very impressed at how long it’s lasted – I have the 30ml travel size, which I have been using almost daily for just over a month, and I haven’t even made a dent! It’s also suitable for all skin types (bonus!).

SHOP IT: Travel size (30ml) for $20.00 or  full size (150ml) for $62.00 from your local Dermalogica stockists now or buy online here.

I like this pre-cleanse too. I love the smell and the convenience of a cleansing oil!
