Plus Size Halloween Costumes

My favourite time of year is fast approaching, and with Halloween falling on a Saturday night this year there are sure to be a bunch of spooky guys and ghouls about. I always look forward to dressing up, so if you’re on the hunt for plus size Halloween costumes this year, don’t you worry – I’ve found some great ones for you.

I’m a longtime fan of adding bunny or cat ears on to an all black ensemble. It’s quick and pretty effortless which is sometimes just what you need. If you’re after a tulle skirt with a bit more coverage, then check out these ones from Society+.

What attracted me to this costume was the cape – building your outfit around one central piece can be a great idea. Even just this cape with a simple maxi dress like the one I’m wearing here would be great for a witch outfit!

Witch is pretty much a go-to for me. You can go for the pointy hat variety (not really my thing) or channel more modern, fashionable witchy babes, like the girls from The Craft, who pretty much inspired most of my teenage style choices! Little accessories can really help your outfit come together.

You don’t have to have a full on costume either, a little bit of spooky here and there is just fine. These cobweb leggings would look super cute with a black skater dress or a long tee and some accessories.
