Nabbing a bargain with NZSALE

Brought to you by NZSALE

My extremely full wardrobe (and my boyfriend) will attest to the fact that I love shopping. It can get pretty expensive though, so that’s why I keep my eyes open for bargains where I can and set myself a limit on how much I spend on clothes each month.  One of the places I’ve found some amazing bargains is NZSALE. which has up to 80% on some of my favourite brands, with new sales starting all the time – including regular plus size sales!

The little voice in your head that says buy the shoes that's the one you listen to

I wanted to see how much I could get for my money, so armed with $100 I set out on a shopping expedition. There are a lot of different sales on NZSALE – from homewares to clothing, from accessories to shoes to the hottest beauty buys. I spent a lot of time looking through every sale that was available on the site that day, and I came across one from Rubi Shoes. A girl can never have too many shoes! I found not just one pair that I had to have, but five. Yes, you read that right!

There were a few plus size labels with sales on the site, one of them was a favourite of mine, Autograph. I managed to find some great pairs of leggings that I’d been lusting after for ages but couldn’t justify at full price (which I think was about $45), for just $5 each. Bargain!

My verdict: From the time I placed my order, it took 8 days for my parcel to arrive – according to NZSALE, it can take up to 21 days after the sale closes. If I’d bought these items at full price, it would have cost me about $355.00 plus shipping – with NZSALE it was just $96.00 plus $13.90 shipping – a saving of $259.00! I was super happy with the price of my purchases, the quality of the goods I bought (all legit, no knockoffs!) and how quickly they arrived. I will definitely be shopping with NZSALE in the future and there are actually a few sales that I’m eyeing up right now…

Heart & Roses London – Sizes XS-5XL (8-24), ends Friday 24 October

1000TC Cotton Rich Sheet Sets – Twin to Super King, ends Friday 24 October

Capriosca & Jam Jam Swimwear – Sizes 10-26, ends Monday 27 October

The sales are short and things can sell out quickly, so make sure you sign up to receive their daily emails letting you know what sales are coming up! You can sign up for an account here. If you’re one of my Australian readers, don’t worry – you won’t miss out! You can sign up to OZSALE, which is your country’s equivalent.

Have you shopped with NZ SALE before? Let me know what bargains you nabbed!

Wow you got some great bargains! I haven’t signed up yet, but a lady at work buys lots of neat things and I always think I should get on board. I love those polka dot shoes!

I gave up on them and other sites for never having plus sized stuff – glad to know they’ve seen the light!

I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that they have a number of plus size sales – just make sure you check the sizing charts because sometimes an XL is a 24 and sometimes it’s a 14, depending on the brand! xM

Are you signed up for the emails Amanda? I find that’s the best way to keep on top of the sales I want to know about! I give it a quick scan and then if I see something that catches my eye I head over to the website to check it out.

Man you were lucky with 8 days, I have waited up to 40 days at times, with the average about 21 days….. still worth it for a bargain though and I know you have to wait so don’t expect before 3 weeks, so not to be disappointed. And bugger missed the Autograph one, am trying to save money so have avoided looking at it for the last month or so 🙂

I’ve had to wait for up to two months for other sites, so it was a pleasant surprise to have the NZSALE one arrive so fast! I saw the Autograph sale up a few times, so fingers crossed they will be back sometime soon!
