I am writing this special tid bit in the hopes of winning my partner a “Hello Goregous” (the name suits perfectly by the way) gift pack. Over the last few months we have been battling with our neighbours over various matters, my partner has been emotionally & physically stressed to the point where she has been feeling unsafe in our own home. I want to nominate this for my lovely mother, I have been through a rough patch, and my mum pulled me through, shed text me and call me beautiful or tell me it’ll all be okay, she made me happy, felt loved and essentially pulled me through this time. My mum is my rock, my world, my everything, she is a strong woman that inspires me thoroughly everyday.
I would like to treat my mum as she has a hard job with kids, she stresses a lot and a lush package would be luxury for her. My mum deserves this and id love to make her as happy as she makes me. I love my mum so much.

My father (who brought me up a single dad) well and truly deserves to be showered with gifts.He has always been whole heartedly supportive of my endeavors in life and i feel that he deserves to be thanked with a special gift. Looking after himself is not something he does the best job of and up until now i have mostly been there to provide him with home cooked meals and company for conversation. It has been really hard for me to move away from him as i know that he is mostly by himself a lot of the time. I am being the host this Christmas and i am putting in the effort to provide a really fun experience for the family. I just cannot think of what to get my wonderful father and seeming as a bird will not fit in his suitcase i think the Cosmetic Lad would suffice as a pretty great gift for him. this man is well suited to win.

My wonderful husband has been working hard in Tokyo and Hong Kong for the last 2 weeks and his baby has grown so much, it has been really hard for him to be away so would love something extra to pop in his stocking!

I would like to nominate my friend for the Dirty gift box. He grew up as a Jehovah’s witness and despite not being one since a teenager he has never had a good Christmas. Last year he organised a secret santa at the backpackers he was staying at to try and get into the Christmas spirit … however there was some kind of stuff up and he was the only one who didn’t get a present 🙁 As an aside, he has put on a lot of weight due to depression that he’s now recovering from and has the lowest self esteem of anyone I’ve ever come across, the things he says about himself are absolutely heart wrenching and he has stopped taking care of himself as he doesn’t feel he is worth it. I would love for him to win this awesome prize so he can take some time to spoil himself and get into the Xmas spirit as he really deserves it.

I would like to nominate my Mother In Law fro the Hello Gorgeous pack, she’s had a bit of a rough year but even then through all that she’s been a wonderful source of support for myself as well as trying to give me as a solo mum a much needed regular breaks since moving to a new city and and new life after the passing of her Son a few years ago (my former partner) and with the budget running a bit low at the moment it would be nice to be able to give her something nice to remind her to take the time out to relax and look after herself too.
I would love to nominate my very deserving Mum. I have a chronic neurological illness so my days are difficult to say the least. Even brushing my teeth is tiring and takes a lot of my energy but she is always there to help me through it and cheer me up. I would love to win the Dirty Gift Box:for my husband. He works hard in his job, and he’s also an amazingly supportive partner and father. One of our daughters is a poor sleeper and every night he gets up to her so that I can be rested for the next day. He often ends up sleeping on her floor, and never complains. He’s very stoic about his own suffering and always makes us feel like we come first. He loves his daughters something fierce, and on a daily basis they feel loved and cherished. He has so much aroha for the women in his life and we’re so lucky to have him.
I need to buy for my Aunty & the hello gorgeous pack would be brilliant. She has had a tough year with very stressful situations with her kids involving police, prisons & hospitals so she could do with some pampering!

She has gone through so much these last few months, after months of being strong, baring the burdens of a demanding boyfriend who was taking so much from her. I have watched her try so hard to make things work, using every last piece of her resources, energy, love and money and getting emotional manipulation and heart ache in return, she has finally become strong enough (or broken enough) to move on from him.
So much of her was used and abused, she was doing so much for other people and giving so much of herself that I think she deserves to have something given to her in return and to be pampered and cared for a bit.
Sadly living on $40 a week myself I can only give her support and friendship but would love the opportunity to give her a treat like this so she can start the new year relaxed, smelling good, happy and free! <3 .

I’d love to win the Roman Klonek tin for my mom. She’s … she’s …. oh, man. So hard to find the words! A stunning, accomplished, intelligent, vivacious lady who gives constantly to the people around her, family most of all. She’s the sort that needs to be sat down and told firmly to think of herself quite often… I mean, she spent her wedding day in January fluttering around fixing food and drink and worrying so much about everyone else having a good time! She needs to be reminded that she is wonderful, just as she is, and worthy of the most delicious pampering. It sounds like this set would be an excellent hint!
I love my mom, so much. And she has been through so much this past couple of years, including the loss of her dad, my Opa, and her beloved father-in-law only months later. She never stopped thinking of other people even in her own darkest moments. She inspires me in ways I will never be able to describe. All I know is that if I can become even half the woman she is, I’ll be proud. I don’t know where she finds her strength. She amazes me.

She’s a pre-school teacher and she works so hard throughout the year. She’s always bombarded with children and parents and she deals with everyone’s problems without complaint. And believe me, there are plenty of problems for her to deal with everyday. I know she loves what she does, but sometimes she comes home with the weight of the world on her shoulders.
Her favourite (and only really) pampering time is to have a relaxing bath with her kindle, some candles and something that smells amazing. She’s like a whole new person when she steps out of that bath. To give her that for Christmas would be amazing and I’m sure she would appreciate it more than she could ever express.
I guess I’m kind of asking for a new mom this Christmas with this gift?
