Lace Bomber Jacket

Lace doesn’t need to be reserved for underthings – I also like to wear mine on the outside. I find that it adds great texture to an outfit (especially if you like black on black as much as I do) and is ideal for layering.

The bonus about lace as outerwear is that you can add different colours underneath for different effects. Today though, I’m sticking with my pale winter skin. Here’s hoping summer isn’t too far off and with it some sunny days…

This lace bomber jacket is perfect for spring and early summer, when the weather is just warming up but you want a light cover for your arms and shoulders. I’d wear this with jeans and a tee as well, it’s such a great versatile addition to my wardrobe.

Do you think it’s too much, the double lace? It’s a subtle pattern clash and I’m loving it! Just a heads up that this jacket is on sale at the moment (AUD $35 down from AUD $149), so if you’re eyeing it up then now is the time to strike…

Do you prefer lace as underwear or outerwear? Let me know below how you wear it.

I love lace anything. So either underwear or outerwear it’s always good in my books. This lace bomber looks great! It may not give you warmth but it spruces up an outfit. I actually have a similar lace-sleeved sweater that I got from Asos and it’s one of my favourites. 🙂

Weirdly, it is quite warm! Obviously not suitable for winter, but more than adequate for spring!

Yes! Im so with you on lace as outwear! Its so true how different you can make the outfit seem with a different colour under the lace… And this bomber jacket is the bomb! And oh so temptingly cheap atm….

The words out of my mouth were – WOW. Looks absolutely amazing on you! Also, I don’t think the double lace looks too much, it’s a nice combination IMO 🙂

I love my lace as underwear- but even underwear can sometimes be used as outerwear 😉
A little difficult to pull off in NZ, but some of the fetish inspired fashionistas on instagram wear the most amazing lace 💖
