Don’t be afraid to feel like the most attractive woman in the room. Stop letting the fear of rejection and ridicule rule you. Put an end to feeling like you are less of a woman than someone in a different shaped body.
I come from a family of big women: big boobs, big thighs and big jiggly bums. Although I’ve always thought of my Mum, my Auntie and Granny as beautiful women, I could never recognise the beauty in me until I learned to love myself.
This is the reason why I was truly honoured to be part of Meagan’s project. I want to help spread the word that being fat doesn’t have to mean being depressed and disgusted, it means you’re an individual; a perfect, unique being.
Is it possible someone else has stretch marks that make a pattern like mine? My cellulite, my lumps, my jiggly bits, my fairy wings and my juicy curves just make me feel proud and sexy. I like to wear skinny jeans and band t shirts, dresses and tights but most of all high waisted short shorts!
This summer I am buying a bikini. I’m not going to miss out on all the cutest outfits because I’m scared! I’m going to walk with my head held high, with a swing to my hips and a smile on my face. I invite all you beautiful babes to join me. This summer be body positive, support your friends and learn to love every bit of yourself. And buy a bikini!
